In a heartwarming annual tradition, the Clearwater-based law firm Perenich, Caulfield, Avril & Noyes Personal Injury Lawyers, will visit Ponce De Leon Elementary School this Friday, May 16, 2025, to give every third grader a free book and playground ball, just in time for summer.
This initiative, part of the firm’s longstanding Read & Play Project, aims to inspire kids to spend their summer reading and playing outside—and away from screens. Around 90 third-grade students will participate in this year’s event, which runs from 1:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Friday, May 16, at the school’s campus located at 1301 Ponce De Leon Blvd, Clearwater, FL.
In addition to distributing the items, attorneys from the firm will also talk to the students about safety, covering tips for biking, walking, and riding in cars.
“We want to remind kids—and their families—that summer fun should also be safe,” said Matthew Noyes, a partner at the firm. “As a father, I know how valuable it is to get kids outside and engaged, while making sure they know how to protect themselves.” “Watching the kids pick out their books and balls is one of the most rewarding parts of our year,” added Attorney Jacqlyn Bryant. “It’s a small gesture that makes a big impact.”
