Jay Avril was born in Baltimore and raised in New Jersey and Florida. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and his Juris Doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law with honors. Jay is distinguished by MartindaleHubbell’s highest accolade, an AV rating.
Jay joined the personal injury attorneys at the firm (then called Perenich & Carroll) in 1984. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Florida Justice Association and the Clearwater Bar Association.
