Perenich, Caulfield, Avril & Noyes Continues Annual Read & Play Tradition at Ponce de Leon Elementary

|

On May 11, 2026, the attorneys at Perenich, Caulfield, Avril & Noyes, P.A. visited Ponce de Leon Elementary School for the firm’s 15th annual Read & Play Project, continuing a long-standing tradition focused on encouraging children to stay active, read more, and practice important safety habits.

During the event, attorneys from the firm spoke with third-grade students about everyday safety topics, including passenger safety, bicycle safety, and pool safety. The presentation was designed to provide children with practical tips they can use throughout the year, especially as summer approaches and kids spend more time outdoors.

Following the presentation, each student received a brand-new book and sports ball. The goal of the Read & Play Project is to encourage children to trade screen time for activities that support learning, exercise, and creativity. Over the past 15 years, the program has provided hundreds of books and sports items to local children throughout the community.

“Seeing the excitement as children pick out a book and choose a ball is incredibly rewarding,” said Matthew Noyes.

Partner Jacqlyn Bryant also reflected on the importance of the initiative, adding, “As a mother, I know how important it is for kids to step away from devices and enjoy reading and playing outside.”

The Read & Play Project remains one of the firm’s favorite annual traditions and reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting local families and investing in the well-being of children in the community.
