Fun on the Half Shell
The Clearwater Bar Association hosted their 66th Annual Oyster Roast on March 24, 2012. The Roast features judges, lawyers, and other volunteers shelling out oysters, live music, and a variety of other fine food and drink.
Perenich, Caulfield, Avril & Noyes once again hosted a tent, this year themed “Arctic Ice, Martini’s &Sea Sea Riders.” From the sweet and fruity apple martini to the salty dirty martini, the fun kept flowing through the ice sculpture at our tent. And our Cajun flare showed with grilled goodies from Sea Sea Riders restaurant. Other attendees provided wine, barbeque, sandwiches, desserts, and even some true southern fare with shrimp and grits. But food wasn’t the only treat in store at the roast. The Baker Bruce Band rocked the crowd all evening with a great selection of classic rock.
The gathering benefits the Clearwater Bar Foundation, which promotes pro bono community service.
