Back-to-School Season is Upon Us
As the attorneys at Perenich, Caulfield, Avril & Noyes, P.A. gear-up for the firm’s Back-to-School Community event at Ponce De Leon Elementary, it reminds us that the shopping frenzy is about to begin for the upcoming school year. However, for those that do not have a lot to spend, we’d like to share that there are many places in our area that are offering free and low-priced clothing for children.
Organizations like “Clothes to Kids” provides back to school clothing for free! According to the Tampa Bay Times, “[k]ids from 4 years old to high school seniors can get five outfits, a pair of shoes and new socks and underwear twice a year from Clothes to Kids, which has stores in Clearwater and St. Petersburg. Students referred by a teacher, social worker or religious leader or who are on free or reduced lunch can call and make an appointment to go shopping.” This organization was founded by a former- Dunedin teacher in 2003. The St. Petersburg location is at 2168 34th Ave. S. The Dunedin store is now in Clearwater at 1059 N Hercules Ave.
Also, for those looking for low-priced uniforms for kids, Goodwill is offering khaki shorts for $2.17 and solid polo shirts for $2 to $6.
