Woman Dies in Car Accident With Semi-Truck
A woman died in a Tampa auto accident on Thursday morning. Bay News 9 reported that Patricia Susan Shaughnessy was traveling on Armenia Avenue just before 5 a.m. when her vehicle slowly rolled through a red light at the intersection with Busch Blvd. Shaughnessy was traveling in a PT Cruiser and was struck by a Pepsi semi-truck. The semi-truck involved in the auto accident was driven by Frederick Smith, who had a green light at the time. Shaughnessy, was 51, died at the car accident scene.
