Knee Surgery
This type of surgery is frequently utilized to both diagnose and repair major structures in the knee. This surgery is frequently done arthroscopically where instruments including a camera are inserted into the knee through a small portal incisions allowing the surgeon to visualize the injury and attempt to repair it. This type of surgery is utilized to repair damage to the meniscus when it is torn, or to repair or replace the anterior cruciate ligament or posterior cruciate ligaments inside the knee. This type of surgery is also utilized to repair damage to the kneecap or Patella.
More serious injury may require open surgery to repair the knee.
