Medications with similar names are becoming a source of error when prescriptions are filled at the pharmacy. Some of these medications are listed below. If you take these medications, please pay attention to your medication bottle's label and question the pharmacist if the color, size, or shape of your medication has changed.

Similar drug names are not an excuse for the misfilling of a prescription by a pharmacy. It is the responsibility of the pharmacist to determine the correct, intended drug and to avoid confusing drugs with similar names.
